Product Description

Colorless or light yellow transparent oily liquid. Slightly phenol odor. Molecular weight 310. Color (APHA)<50. Acid value <0.5mgKOH/g. Phosphorus content 10%. The relative density is 1.180 ~ 1.186(25°/15.5 ° C). Viscosity 12mPa·s(38ºC), 4.5mPa·s(99ºC). Freezing point 19 ~ 24ºC. Melting point 22 ~ 25ºC. Boiling point 220ºC(1333Pa). Flash point (open cup method)218.3ºC, ignition point 243ºC. Refractive index 1.5880 ~ 1.5900(25ºC). Solubility (g/100g solvent) : methanol >10, benzene >10, acetone >10, insoluble in water. Triphenyl phosphite is irritating to the skin, and the oral LD50 of rats is 2800mg/kg. It is used as an antioxidant and stabilizer of polymers, and has good synergistic effect with many phenolic antioxidants. Triphenyl phosphite is prepared by the reaction of phosphorus trichloride and phenol. A green, environmentally friendly and energy-saving triphenyl phosphite preparation method is prepared. The preparation method includes the following steps: (1) The molten phenol was added to the enamel kettle at medium speed, the pressure was controlled at -0.01 vacuum degree, and the phenol was kept in the molten state and the phosphorus trichloride solution was added at a constant rate. The temperature during the drip process was maintained at 25-45 ºC and the drip time was controlled for 4h. After the drip is completed, the temperature is raised to 130ºC and the vacuum degree is slowly increased to the limit of the water jet pump empty, and the reaction continues at this temperature for 5h, during which the enamel kettle has been maintained a medium speed stirring, wherein the ratio of the phenol to the phosphorus trichloride substance is 3.5:1; (2) The HCl produced in step (1) is removed from the reaction process through the condenser into the buffer tank and then absorbed into hydrochloric acid by the falling film absorber; (3) After the reaction is over, the vacuum is broken and the temperature is reduced to room temperature, and the materials in the enamel kettle are transferred to the distillation kettle for vacuum distillation separation; (4) First increase the vacuum degree in the still to the ultimate vacuum of the Roots vacuum machine, while slowly increasing the temperature, the maximum temperature does not exceed 220 ° C. Distillation separation is carried out in the heating process. The former fraction is phenol, which is first distilled out and then collected into the phenol receiving tank after condensation in the condenser to room temperature. When the phenol is no longer distilled out, the middle fraction is collected into the crude triphenyl phosphite receiving tank after condensation in the condenser to room temperature, and the former triphenyl phosphite receiving tank is collected into the fine triphenyl phosphite. The crude triphenyl phosphite was collected 1h after distillation, condensed by condenser to room temperature, and collected into the post-distillation triphenyl phosphite receiving tank; (5) The refined triphenyl phosphite collected by distillation in step (4) is condensed and collected in barrels to obtain the finished triphenyl phosphite. Chemical properties below room temperature colorless to light yellow monoclinic crystal. Above room temperature, it is colorless light yellow transparent oily liquid with pungent odor. Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ethyl ether, acetone, benzene and other organic solvents.
