Preparation method of sodium carbonate (497-19-8) :
The purified salt water is absorbed ammonia and carbonized, and then the sodium bicarbonate is filtered and calcined to obtain sodium carbonate. Salt, ammonia and CO can also be used as raw materials to produce ammonium chloride and soda ash at the same time. First, ammonia absorption and carbonization are carried out, and then the precipitation of sodium bicarbonate is crystallized and filtered and calcined to obtain soda ash. The mother liquor is then subjected to ammonia absorption, ammonium chloride crystals are precipitated, and salt is added after filtration, and ammonium chloride crystals are further precipitated, and so on.
Quality Index: (GB 1886-92)
Appearance white powder crystal. Total alkali content (Na2CO3)≥99.2%; Chloride (NaCl)≤ 0.7%; Iron (Fe2O3)≤0.004%; Water insoluble matter ≤0.04%; Burning weight loss ≤0.8%; Arsenic (As)≤0.0002%; Heavy metal (Pb)≤0.001%.
Toxicity and Protection:
Sodium carbonate is an alkaline substance that corrodes and irritates the skin. Its dust irritates the respiratory tract. The aqueous solution is highly alkaline and can burn the cornea of the eye. Wear glasses, gloves and other protection when using
Packing and storage:
Industrial goods are packed in gunny bags. Reagents should be packed in glass or plastic bottles, sealed and stored.
