Usage 1: Used as a raw material for organic solvents, spray painted synthetic leather, and fragrances
Usage 2: GB 2760-1996 specifies that it is a permitted edible spice.
Usage 3: Used as a standard substance and solvent for chromatographic analysis, as well as for the separation
of lithium chloride from alkali metal chlorides and the synthesis of fragrances
Application 4: A fast drying solvent for cellulose acetate, used in paints and coatings.
It is also used in the manufacturing of synthetic leather and fragrances, as well as as as as an extractant for oils and fats.
It is still the raw material for manufacturing dyes and drugs.
