Sodium hypophosphite is a white crystalline, hydroscopic property and deliquescent; easy soluble in water and alcohol. It'll explode when contacting oxidants. When heated to a temperature of over 200ºC, it would decompose rapidly and release hydrogen phosphide.

Large equipment and small objects that cannot be plating; complex appearance objects with high accuracy and concave and concave texture; deep hole inner walls, objects with high surface hardness and wear resistance; non-metallic materials such as plastics, ceramics, glass, quartz, etc. are metallized to obtain dense and uniform nickel-phosphorus plating that is better than electroplating. Widely used in electronics, aviation, machinery, petroleum and other industries. It can also be used as a catalyst and stabilizer for synthesis of various water treatment agents, chemical reaction catalysts, surfactants for resins, molecular weight regulators, and thermal stabilizers.
