Introduction
3-Chloro-6-hydrazinepyridazine is an organic intermediate that can be obtained by the reaction of 3,6-dichloropyridazine and hydrazine hydrate.
Preparation
In a 100mL single-mouth round-bottom flask, add 3,6-dichloropyridazine (5.96g, 40mmol), hydrazine hydrate (1.80g, 36mmol), and acetonitrile 20ml (15.72g). The mixture in the reaction flask was stirred at 60ºC for 12 hours. TLC and GC confirmed that the reaction was complete. After the reaction, the solvent was removed by rotary evaporation to obtain a crude product, which was separated by silica gel column chromatography to obtain the pure product 3-chloro-6-hydrazinepyridazine. After drying, the calculated yield was 67.49%, the purity was 98.51% (HPLC), and the melting point was 137ºC-141ºC.
