Application 

Solvent and diluent: sec butyl acetate is used as a solvent in the coating industry, which can replace
solvents such as xylene, etc. It is widely used as a solvent for
coatings such as nitro paint, acrylic paint, polyurethane paint, polyester paint, amino paint, epoxy paint,
etc. In addition, it is also used as an ideal component for diluents such as Tianna water and banana water.

Plastic and spice manufacturing: sec butyl acetate can be used for plastic synthesis and as a plasticizer
for the synthesis of polyvinyl chloride; In spice processing, it has a special fruit smell and is often used
to make essence and spice.

Pharmaceutical synthesis: In the pharmaceutical industry, sec butyl acetate can be used as an extractant
in the production of antibiotics (such as penicillin and erythromycin), hormones, and vitamins. Due to
